Centrinity Software Acquisition Adds Powerful Capabilities To FirstClass May 19, 2000 Centrinity Inc. announced on April 28, 2000 that it has acquired the rights to database integration software that enables FirstClass communications and collaboration software product users to quickly create online information systems that feature customized access to existing databases. The acquired software products, which also uses the FirstClass designation, are FirstClass Rapid Application Developer (FCRAD) – a development tool – and FirstClass Application Server (FCAS) – a server programming tool.  The products were designed and developed by 6 Degrees Software and Consulting, Inc., a systems integrator based in Burlington, Vermont, specifically as add-on components to Centrinity’s FirstClass communications and collaboration products. Database programming is normally a complex and time-consuming activity.  FCRAD and FCAS allow organizations to develop customized applications for their FirstClass environment quickly and cost-effectively. Centrinity, a leader in collaborative and unified messaging software, will offer FCRAD and FCAS as part of its FirstClass suite of products.
