Keyspan TuneView is a powerful remote control with color LCD screen and 2-way RF connectivity that allows you to browse and manage an iPod throughout your house or office. Unlike other iPod remotes, Keyspan TuneView can be updated by connecting it to the USB port on a PC or Mac and loading new firmware onto the remote. When Apple released its current generation of iPods -- including the iPod nano, iPod classic, and iPod touch -- only docks and peripherals with an Apple authentication coprocessor were able to support video out functions in these new iPods. Keyspan's TuneView dock is one of the few "Made for iPod" licensed docks that contains the necessary authentication coprocessor. When used in conjunction with recently released firmware updates from Apple, the new firmware update from Keyspan enables full use of the video out functionality.
